Digital Video Archive (DVA) is a powerful software solution which transforms a static storage environment into an environment where users can efficiently share and manage their video files/clips, providing instant on-line previews of every video clip. Moreover, the automatic storage management provides automatic archiving of all assets to a deep archive. High resolution content can be kept on-line, near-line and off-line.

The Digital Video Archive Solution extends your on-line (hard disk) storage with:

•  A media asset management solution, offering comprehensive management of video files and (sub)clips. Users can ingest clips in the system by simple “drag and drop” functions. Metadata is automatically extracted from the files, previews are generated and more metadata can be added manually.

•  A permanent deep archive. All assets are automatically archived from the on-line storage to the deep archive. The management policies determine which and when files are removed from the on-line storage. Users browse the preview clips and issue the retrieval of (complete clip) high resolution content by means of a simple mouse click.
